Messing Around

I have been enamored with toads this summer.  I don't know how it's turned out to be years since I've seen a toad, but I'm excited to have been able to spot many in the past few months!  I've only caught one to take photos of, and it squeaked the most gut-dropping screech throughout the fifteen minute session, and I haven't been able to bring myself to take more picture of toads since.  It's not much to show, but I'm having fun just playing.  (I'm also throwing in a random picture - just because I'm unable to keep one consistent thought at any given time!)

Resurrection of the Cicada

I found my old external hard drives the other day, and was very excited to find the raw files of these pictures of a cicada coming out of its shell.  It's been five years since I've taken these photos, and will be another twelve until its children make their own emergence.  

Fourth of July

It's been a couple of years since I've been able to celebrate the Fourth of July in the states, and it is just as wonderful as I remember it.  I was excited to get some photos of our festivities.
