Macro Shots

I got up the guff and the finances to get a macro lens about a 

month ago, which has been really, really great for boosting my 

creativity.  I haven't had a whole lot of time to use it or process the 

photos, due to Brian's and my recent move to Calgary, but here 

are a few shots I've gotten together.  More are sure to come!!

Some Older Photos from Chicago

I took these a couple months ago and never got around to editing them - until tonight!

Brian had proposed to me on this weekend, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to be able to take pictures.  We were able to make it downtown on our last day in Chicago, though, so I took the opportunity to pull my camera out.  

Here is a photo I took at Navy Pier, into the window of a place where Brian had prom.

I absolutely love how light and shadow play around in the downtown areas of cities - I'm still having some trouble really capturing what I see in it, but here, I think, is the closest I've gotten:

Arbor Creek Stop Motion Animation

I finally finished it!!  Arbor Creek Elementary had me come in and teach the fourth graders about stop motion animation, then work with them for a little while on making one for anti-bullying.  The music teacher's son had made a song for the school last year, which he tweaked a little to use for this.  All in all, I think it worked out pret-ty well...
