Transitioning

It's hard to believe that just two weeks ago, I was living in Calgary and feeling comfortable in a different country after being there for close to two years.  And within fifteen minutes at the border, I was harshly reminded that Canada is not my home as my work visa was ripped out of my passport and we were told to move along.  Now, we're settled in Overland Park, Kansas for a few months, where I'm still trying to transition into a whole different way of life.  I'm feeling like I'm going a little mad - at least a little nomadic - I've got no real home, our stuff is in storage halfway across the country, and my last two years are seeming like nothing more than a dream now.  And it's starting to seep into my photography - which has actually been a lot of fun!  So on top of starting up a flickr account, slowly but surely beefing up my etsy shop, and putting out some feelers on different printing methods and artistic opportunities, I'm starting to get into the swing of a different kind of life for awhile.
